The Society Archives are housed in the Sherman Library.
This is an invaluable resource tool. The Archives house such items as maps, timetables, drawings, and a nearly complete set of the SP Bulletin. Items have all been donated to the Society to be preserved for future generations.

Items in the Archives are available for public perusal, but this is a non-circulating library. Xerox copy service is available, and photo prints can be ordered.
Catalog service is not currently available. Personal visits are necessary to determine the usefullness of the collection to your needs. A telephone call in advance may be of assistance to both you and the Library.
Generally, the open hours are 9AM-4:30PM Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday. Note that they are closed 1PM-2PM for lunch. Please call in advance to verify before visiting. The Director of the Library is Paul Wormser. He is normally at the Library on Wednesdays and Thursdays only.
Donations to the archives are deductible to the extent provided by law. The Society is a 501.c.3 organization. For information about how to donate materials, please contact the Society’s Archivist via the business office at sphts@sphts.org.
