Employee Reflections

This section of the Legacy portion of the society’s website is dedicated to articles written by former Southern Pacific employees who have an interest in sharing their craft, profession, or technical knowledge acquired from experience in their position within the Southern Pacific Company. We hope to post these articles to provide the reader a crossover between the professions offered by the Southern Pacific and the careers of the employees who worked for the railroad. These short stories are designed to feature technical information, railroad history, employee relations, and human interest. We hope you enjoy them.
